Jeremy Powers (Rapha-Focus) is famously fun loving, but he also brings to his craft of cyclocross an attention to details that's evident in his attacking race strategy and his equipment. We recently profiled defending US champ Powers and fellow SRAM athlete Danny Summerhill (K-EDGE/Felt) as two of the favorites for Sunday's US National Cyclocross Championship in Austin. Now we want to profile their bikes.... First we'll take a look at Powers' Focus Mares CX equiped with SRAM Force CX1 and HydroR hydraulic disc brakes.

Tom Hopper, Powers' mechanic travels with sticker sheets of presidential portraits from U.S. currency. A victory in UCI C2 gets the $1 George Washington sticker on the seat tube, and a C1 win a $5 Abraham Lincoln sticker.

Powers' fleet features the Zipp Service Course SL stem, this one the just launched model.
