Kona legend Mirinda “Rinny” Carfrae will be looking to add to her tally of three Ironman® world titles (2010, 2013 and 2014) this year. This longtime SRAM, Zipp and Quarq athlete is back on the Big Island with the latest gear affixed to her Felt frame.

“I love the Clics,” she said of her SRAM eTap Clics extension shifters. “They’re super easy to use. It doesn’t take much to change a gear, which is what you want. It’s just kind of a thought and then it’s changed.” Those Clics are perfectly integrated with the new Zipp Evo extensions with 110mm rise. Designed with input from top bike fitters, the shape of the Vuka Alumina Evo is crafted to feel as if the rider is shaking hands with the bar. Carfrae, a smaller rider, is riding Zipp NSW, opting for the 58mm deep 404 on the front and 82mm 808 on the rear. “I’m more condiment with the 404 on the front. It’s a very aerodynamic wheel,” she said.
