SRAM / RockShox riders Ravanel and Hill win EWS Aspen

This past weekend, Enduro World Series Round 6 took to the rarified air of Aspen, Colorado. And Aspen, which was founded during Colorado’s silver boom of the late 1800s, proved to be the perfect venue for event winners Cécile Ravanel and Sam Hill.

It was the fifth EWS win this year for Ravanel, who has won 29 of 41 stages in six events, and now leads the series by 600 points over her closest competitor. The Commencal rider’s bike was equipped with a SRAM X01 Eagle™ drivetrain, SRAM Guide Ultimate brakes, a RockShox Lyrik RCT3 fork, RockShox Super Deluxe Coil RT Remote shock and a RockShox Reverb 1x remote seatpost.

For Sam Hill, Aspen marked a first EWS overall win of 2017. But the five-time downhill World Champion’s consistency throughout the season sees him move into the series lead with just two rounds remaining. Before his Aspen win, Hill had ridden the number-13 plate to 4th, 3rd, 5th, 2nd and 6th place finishes.

Hill’s Nukeproof was equipped with a SRAM X01 Eagle™ drivetrain, new SRAM Code RSC brakes, a RockShox Lyrik RCT3 fork, RockShox Super Deluxe RCT shock and a RockShox Reverb 1x remote seatpost.
