A mid-season recap from the Enduro World Cup


It may only be June but the EDR season is halfway over! From the pressure-cooker of Pietra Ligure to the snow in Poland, racers have had just about every condition imaginable thrown their way. Looking onward to the second half of this season, we expect only great things. Dark horse Dan Booker has made his way into second place with Greg Callaghan sitting in seventh. With riders like Jesse Melamed rising from a rough first few races back to a first place finish in Leogang, it's still anyone's season.

Through all the different weather riders have had to depend heavily on their apparel to be the barrier of focus while racing. Between Finale and Poland riders got their fair share of temperature extremes. Weather variability within the day is something that plagues Enduro riders more than most other disciplines. They can experience all 4 seasons in one day if things line up for it. The race in Bielsko-Biala was a good reminder that riding in the snow is not out of the question, even in May. Drivetrain and suspension reliability are a must-have with all the mud, grime and cold temperatures.

Leogang was a true leveler, seeing yet another shake-up in the standings. With other riders finding their competitive edges its all the more important to have a dialed setup when it comes to race day.
