Cécile Ravanel takes six of six stage wins to clinch another EWS victory in La Thuile, Italy.

After a two-month hiatus, the Enduro World Series returned to La Thuile, Italy, this past weekend. Cécile Ravanel, winner of two of the first three races in 2016, put down yet another dominating performance to take the EWS Round 3 victory. In a tale nearly too good to be true, Ravanel used SRAM XX1, Guide Ultimate brakes, RockShox Lyrik and Monarch Plus DebonAir to win every leg of the six special stages in this multi-day event.

In the men’s field, despite having a massive crash in the second special stage, multi-time Downhill World Cup and World Champion, Sam Hill had his best ever EWS result, finishing in 2nd place just behind 2015 EWS Champion Richie Rude. Hill was also using a SRAM XX1 drivetrain, SRAM Guide Ultimate brakes, RockShox Lyrik, Monarch Plus DebonAir and Reverb Stealth seatpost.

The racers will now take two short weeks off until the next EWS round that will be held in Aspen, Colorado—the first of the two North American rounds—before heading back to Europe to finish out the eight-round series.
