LET’S GO RACING

The WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series is back, and RockShox is back with it, returning for a second year as a proud series partner. This is where it all happens: the fastest, loudest, most unpredictable weeks on a mountain bike calendar. And this page is your all-access pass where we'll be dropping content you won't find anywhere else, updates, behind-the-scenes moments, and everything in between.

ISSUE 007 – SOLDIER HOLLOW

INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION

Soldier Hollow sits 80km south-east of Salt Lake City, built for the 2002 Winter Olympics and set to host again in 2034. It's become a natural home for the next generation of mountain bikers — the Utah NICA chapter alone hosts close to 7,500 kids.

Since 2009, NICA has grown to 33 leagues nationwide, building a development pathway from local racing to the World Cup. Blevins, Blunk, Batten, Riley, Gibson, and Amos all came up through the program. This weekend at Soldier Hollow, Gwen Gibson stood on the podium in 2nd for her first ever Elite XCO World Cup in front of family, friends, and the next generation of NICA riders she once was.

"With NICA, you camp and interact a ton with the people you're racing with. It's where I found community." — Gwendalyn Gibson

Chile's Martin Vidaurre of Specialized Factory XC took the XCO win in a brilliant race from start to finish. Catch it all in the latest Race Cut.

LUCA SCHWARZBAUER’S CANYON LUX WORLD CUP CFR

Luca Schwarzbauer has raced for Canyon Factory XC for the past five years, winning the XCC World Cup Overall in 2023 and representing Germany at the Paris Olympic Games. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a background that gives him a unique perspective on his own bike setup, blending the mindset of a high-performance athlete with that of an engineer. In this RockShox Bike Check, Luca breaks down the details behind his race-day setup and the preferences that come from years of racing at the highest level.
