Overview
As an intern for event and merchandise coordination, you’ll be the heartbeat of our events! You’ll passionately support, organize, and coordinate top-tier happenings like trade shows and exhibitions that spotlight SRAM’s innovative products and brand. If you thrive on the buzz and thrill of event planning, this is your chance to shine in a creative, action-packed environment.
Responsibilities
- Booking coordination for hotels, events, and meeting rooms
- Supporting the marketing team in communications planning for events
- Organizing logistics for event shipping
- Scheduling and coordinating event team tasks on-site
- Helping source assets like tents, displays, and equipment
- Promoting development, production, and inventory management of merchandise
- Accurate expense tracking according to budget
- Negotiating with suppliers for pricing, delivery terms, and timelines
- Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Enrolled at a German University or College in Business Administration, Marketing, or a comparable program
- Secondary school completion (e.g. Abitur or equivalent)
- Valid driver’s license required and must be maintained
- Confident use of MS Office
- Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail
- Well-developed problem-solving abilities
- SAP knowledge is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) - German is a plus
- Willingness to travel is required
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg (50 lbs)
- Ability to stand for extended periods at events
- Mandatory internship as part of education or studies
