Overview
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Schweinfurt based Industrial Design team as of 1 October, 2025, for 5-6 months. In this role, you will gain deep insights into developing next generation bicycle components putting the user into the focus of any of our considerations. You will support our European Industrial Design team of 7 people and collaborate closely with the Global Industrial Design team.
Responsibilities
- Work with our global in-house design team to develop appropriate designs for a diverse range of cycling products
- Assist the design team in compiling market, design and user research information
- Collaborate with Product Appearance Design, Product Management and Design Engineers to craft the “look and feel” of our components
- Create accurate production intent prototypes and/or renderings for presentation and reference purposes
- Organizing and presenting your work to the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Design (in process) or equivalent
- Enthusiastic and passionate about design
- Detail oriented with strong work ethic
- Strong verbal and visual communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Good knowledge of CAD modelling
- Ability to work and thrive in a global team environment
- Good demonstration of skill in the following: Ergonomic Exploration, Problem Solving. Model Making and Sketching, Graphic Development
