Overview


Based remotely in Denver (CO) Metro area, the SRAM Field Guide is dedicated to increasing retail partner sales while building loyalty and affinity for the SRAM brands in an assigned market. This role involves executing corporate and model year sales strategies, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key retailers and partners, and creating sustainable sales growth. The Field Guide team is fiercely passionate about our customers, products, teamwork, and leadership. Responsibilities


  • Execute retail and market sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key retailers and partner representatives.
  • Conduct regular in-person retail visits and log activities.
  • Gather market insights through sales metrics and analysis.
  • Use value-based selling to drive demand and excitement at retail.
  • Lead product clinics and technical training for retailers.
  • Organize and support activations for new and existing products.
  • Deliver retail and rider-centric experiences focused on product education.
  • Partner with local events aligned with corporate and retail strategies.
  • Build relationships with community influencers at retail.
  • Conduct exploratory visits to maintain market insights.
  • Provide regular market reports (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly).
  • Adhere to Field Guide Standard Work, SRAM values, and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or retail marketing.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Passion for cycling and knowledge of SRAM products.
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Understanding of value selling and strong negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated, resourceful, and accountable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel; CRM experience preferred.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Working Conditions
  • Ability to travel up to 80% within the market and work weekends as required.
  • Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, driving, and extended periods of data entry.
  • Frequent phone communication and administrative tasks.
  • This role is remote in the Denver Metro area. Non-local candidates will be expected to relocate.
  • Competitive salary starting at $60,000 with potential up to 40% higher based on experience and skills.
