Overview

To gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside finance and accounting professionals while building a strong foundation for achieving your career goals.

Responsibilities
  • Opportunity to learn SRAM’s global finance and general ledger reporting structure
  • Gain proficiency in ERP software (SAP) and Microsoft suite of products
  • Assist in month-end close procedures in accordance with the global finance team
  • Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations
  • Assist with preparation and review of monthly and quarterly financial and tax filings
  • Participate in various process improvement initiatives around general accounting processes
  • Perform monthly analysis of actual to plan operating expense results, and deliver results to finance team
  • Assist North America Controller, Tax Director, and other finance managers on special projects
  • Assist in monitoring and documenting internal controls according to US GAAP
Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Good understanding of accounting theory and practices
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, including willingness to research and resolve accounting applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic, and self-starter capabilities in a dynamic and cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to operate efficiently, independently, and to seek constant improvement in achieving team goals
